If a woman's menstrual cycle is irregular or missing, she may not ovulate. Women's infertility Causes Hormonal problems: You may be unable to conceive if your body does not experience the regular hormonal changes necessary for the creation of an ovum from the ovary and the thickening of the uterine lining.
